Zoya Pixie Dust - Godiva

I hope that everyone is having a nice Easter. I finally jumped on the Zoya Pixie Dust wagon and purchased myself Godiva.

Polishes Used:
-OPI Nail Envy
-Zoya - Godiva

I am wearing 3 coats of polish in these photos. Although I really love the textured polishes, I have to say that I was a little disappointing with how this shade looks against my skin. Nothing against the shade of the polish, just seems a little to yellow toned for me?

What do you think? I am excited to try some of their spring shades of Pixie Dust in the future!

Liquid Lacquer - Physical Graffiti Collection (Pic Heavy)

Today I am so excited to show you Liquid Lacquer's brand new collection, Physical Graffiti, inspired by Led Zepplin.

This collection contains 7 different Led Zepplin inspired holographic shades. I was lucky enough for Melissa to provide me with the entire collection to show my lovely readers, so let's jump right in!

When the Levee Breaks:

I have three coats of this When The Levee Breaks in these pictures. It had really smooth  and even application. I really love the periwinkle base color in this polish!

Dancin' Days:

Dancin' Days is a lovely pink, fuchsia polish. I have three coats on in these photos but I probably could have even stopped with two. As with the previous polish, this one had really smooth and even application.

No Quarter:

No Quater is a nice forest green polish. I was able to achieve my desired opacity with two coats of polish. As with the previous shades, this one had really smooth and even application.

Kashmir:

Kashmir is such a pretty nude holo an I LOVE how this shade looks on my skin tone - definitely one of the best nudes I have. I am wearing three coats of Kashmir in my pictures. As always, this shade had really smooth and even application.

The Rain Song:

The Rain Song was one of my favorite shades in the entire collection. I have two coats of polish on in the pictures. I was a little disappointed that the holo didn't translate in these pictures. As with the other polishes, this shade had really smooth and even application.

Houses of the Holy:

Houses of the Holy is a pretty plum leaning purple shade. I was able to obtain full coverage with two coats. This polish had really smooth and even application.

Tea for One:

Tea for One has a really pretty berry toned base, and was completely opaque in two coats. It also had really nice smooth and even application.

Overall, there is not one polish in this collection that I don't like! All the colors are pretty and most are rich. One of my favorite things about the Liquid Lacquer holo polishes is that the holo-ness of the shades don't overpower the base color. I know with some other brands, I can't even tell which base color is which!

All of these polishes will be available on the Liquid Lacquer site during Melissa's upcoming restock on Saturday, March 30th, 2:00pm EST.

Which ones are your favorite? What do you hope to pick up in the restock?

Liquid Lacquer Swatches

Hello Lovelies! Today I have two new polishes from Liquid Lacquer to share with you. I was lucky enough to snatch these up during Melissa's latest restock and am excited to share that they will be available to you in the upcoming Liquid Lacquer stock on Saturday :)

First up: Collide Into You:

Collide Into You is a vibrant teal crelly with pink, gold and other colored circle glitters in all sizes. This polish had very nice application and I was able to get a very nice even distribution of glitters without fishing. I have on 2 coats in the pictures.

Second Up: Halfway Gemini

Halfway Gemini is a bright blue jelly polish with pink, and rose gold circle glitters and small shimmery hex glitter as well. The application of this polish was nice and even as well. I have on 3 coats in the photo's and just think that the blue does an amazing job of popping right off the nail.

Both of these shades are fun and bright for spring. Liquid Lacquer polishes can be purchased on Melissa's Big Cartel shop, and make sure you follow her on Facebook so you don't miss restock updates.

Ultra Pro - Fuchsia Rage

So who doesn't like a nice hot pink polish?! Today I have Ultra Pro - Fuchsia Rage. I purchased this polish in college and it was one of my favorite throughout my who college career!

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Ultra Pro - Fuchsia Rage
-No Time

Don't you just love hot pinks?! This is two coats of polish and it was completely opaque. The application was nice although you could it was one of my older shades and was getting a little thick :-/ Anyway, this is still one of my go-to polishes for pedicures over the summer, because who doesn't like a nice bright neon peeping out from their sandals!

Do you have any go to polishes for pedicures? Are you still loving neons as much as I do?

Crumpet's Nail Tarts: Tri-Polish Challenge

Hello my loves! Today is day 3 of the March Tri-Polish Challenge. I have to say, I am glad this month is almost over, the shades I selected seem a little Halloween-ish to me, so I have been uninspired. However, I am already in love with next months colors.

Moving on; here is the mani I came up with for Day 3:

For this mani, I started with the Coral as my base, added a stripe of the green and topped it off with Sticks 'n Stones! Since the green stripe is only one coat over the coral, it almost looks tan, and at first I sort of hated it but now I like it. It's suuuuper simple and easy to wear still fun too!

As always, make sure to check out what all the other amazing Nail Tarts did!

OPI - Holiday Glow

It's Monday again!? hehe. Today I am showing you OPI - Holiday Glow. I believe this was from one of their holiday collections a couple years ago but feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I actually really love this polish, and it was so sweet because one of my co-workers picked this up for me during the holiday season that year.

Anyway, onto the polish itself!

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-OPI - Holiday Glow
-No Time

Holiday Glow is a lovely brown/maroon base polish with gold and burgundy micro glitter/shimmer. The application was smooth but took two coats to achieve opacity. I have two coats on in these photos and think it's the perfect shade. I love how this looks even if it isn't very "Springy".
