Essence - Mauve Like A Rockstar

Happy Monday Loves!

I know I have been doing a lot of "plain" swatching lately, but I have a lot of untrieds that I am going through prior to my upcoming nail challenge for fall. (Whoohoo!)

Today I  have on Essence Mauve Like A Rockstar. I got this polish from Mateja with my prize :)

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Essence - Mauve Like A Rockstar
-OTD

I have been loving "nude" polishes lately, although this isn't exactly nude, its very close. I am so glad that Mateja sent me Essence polishes because my Ulta literally has ZERO.

I wanted to add a little something to this mani, and I think it looks like a good mani for a wedding or something classic like that ;-)

Polishes Added:
-OPI - Pirouette My Whistle
-NYC - Matte Me Crazy

This was my first attempt at a reverse glitter gradient and I really like how it turned out. Out of this duo I love the second look better. What about you?

  4. I love how the little bit of glitter perks it up a bit!

  5. I love the reverse glitter gradient, I have one on at the moment! But I'm wondering, did you sponge on the Pirouette my Whistle? Or carefully apply it in layers? Mine is way different because I painted on my glitter coat and then sponged over the top (OPI DS Extravagance with Russian Navy, so a different kind of glitter).

  6. NYC Matte Me Crazy is an awesome matte topcoat. I tried looking for OPI, Essie, Orly, etc. You name it, I looked for it. And lo and behold, when I had given up looking it, I found it: the last one in the Target store I wasn't even supposed to be going into (I've become a bit of a nail polish fanatic, like severely lol). And for only $1.72 @ Target, it can't be beat!
