Zoya Ignite Collection for Fall 2014

Happy Saturday! Today I have the 6 lovely shades from the Zoya Ignite Collection for Fall 2014 to share.

All swatches shown with two coats of color, no topcoat

These shades are the shimmery sisters of the Entice Collection.

Autumn: "Autumn by Zoya can be best described as a varnished copper liquid metal."

Direct sunlight
Yuna: "Yuna by Zoya can be best described as a full-coverage warm grey with copper and gold liquid metal."

Direct Sunlight
Teigen: "Teigen by Zoya can be best described as a full-coverage pink toned cranberry with a copper liquid metal."

Direct Sunlight

India: "India by Zoya can be best described as a deep, luxurious red with a gold liquid metallic shimmer."

Direct Sunlight

Sansa: "Sansa by Zoya can be best described as a deep eggplant with a gold metallic sparkle, in the flawless full-coverage, liquid metal formula."

Remy: "Remy by Zoya can be best described as a brilliant indigo with copper and gold liquid metallic."

So I am loving the Ignite Collection! The formulas of these polishes were really nice, not to thin, not too thick, complete coverage in two coats. I am also obsessed with the shimmer in these and my pictures don't do them justice.

Which of the shades is your favorite? I am loving Autumn, Teigen and most of all, India!

Zoya Entice Collection for Fall 2014

Are you ready for Fall? I'm not, that's for sure, fall simply starts what feels like 9 months of winter in Pittsburgh. LOL. One thing I am looking forward to though is wearing more dark and vampy polishes; and for my first Fall Collection review, I have Zoya Entice.

All polishes shown are two coats of color without topcoat unless otherwise stated

Nyssa: "Nyssa by Zoya can be best described as a milk chocolate brown in the flawless, full-coverage cream formula."

Margo: "Margo by Zoya can be best described as a modern red plum in a flawless, full-coverage cream formula."

Genevieve: "Genevieve by Zoya can be best described as a cool leather grey in the flawless full-coverage cream formula."

Veronica: "Veronica by Zoya can be best described as a full-coverage brilliant red wine."

Ryan: "Ryan by Zoya can be best described as a classic indigo in a flawless cream formula. (Originally released during NYFW for Timo Weiland's AW14 Collection)"

One coat of color shown

Claire: "Claire by Zoya can be best described as a warm, rich burgundy with a flawless, full-coverage cream finish."

Overall, I like the colors in this collection, there is a good mix of dark and vampy and rich creamy shades. I did find these polishes to be a bit on the thicker side to apply, however, this did allow for all to have full cover in one or two coats.

Which one of these shades in your favorite? I'm really liking Genevieve and Veronica :)

Twinsie Tuesday: Sideways French

This Tuesday's theme is Sideways French. I wasn't 100% sure what that was, but I think it got it right :-P

Polishes Used:
-KB Shimmer - Eclipse
-Kiss - Silver Glitter

For this look I simply started with my black base and freehanded on some sideways French with my Kiss Nail Art striper. The look is simple but sort of edgy because of the colors I used; I liked it for something different.

Be sure to check out how the other Twinsies created their sideways French looks:

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents - Tea Party - Look 4

I'm back today with my 4th and final August Tea Party look for the Nail Challenge Collaborative, and I am totally in love with this look!

Polishes Used:
-Morgan Taylor - Ahead of the Game
-Morgan Taylor - New Kicks on the Block
-Morgan Taylor - Funny Business
-Morgan Taylor - Mint Chocolate Chip
-Precision Nail Lacquer - Grape Devine
-Seche - Versatile
-Rica - Whiteout
-Hard Candy - Matte-ly in Love

I love this look! I feel like I finished strong this month. The color seem is cheery and the white dots on the yellow feels very country chic for a tea party. The purple flowers sort of remind me of lilac flowers that may be out at a tea party.

Check out how the other ladies are wrapping up their Tea Parties below!

Subtle French Gradient

Happy Saturday! Early this week the Twinsie Tuesday ladies did a "Classic" themed look; I picked red, but my second choice was French. So today I'm showing you my second Classic look :-P

Polishes Used:
-OPI - My Vampire Is Buff
-OPI - Alpine Snow

I like this look a lot actually! Although it super subtle I think that's part of the fun of it. I have tried a look like this before in pink and white (which you can see here) and I think I like this one just as much as that one. And going through some of my older pictures, I really like my new nail shape a lot better too!
