My 2014 Favorites

I can't believe that today is the last day of 2014!!!! This year has seriously flown by; I can't believe it!

For today's post I decided to share with you my favorite looks from this past year; you can see a chance in nail shape, background color and logos, lol. I hope you enjoy this recap :)

There you go! I noticed a floral trend in almost every month so those must be my favorite; do you have a favorite from the year?

What I Wore: Christmas Eve Edition

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! Today I'll be sharing with you the nails that I wore on Christmas Eve.

Polishes Used:
-Seche - Conquer The World
-China Glaze - Ruby Pumps

This look was super simple and super easy to create. I loved how the shimmer / glitter in Ruby Pumps popped against the soft green.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents - Dots - Look 4

I hope that everyone who celebrates Christmas had a nice day yesterday. Today, hubby and I are going to his aunts house to celebrate the holidays with some of his mom's side of the family. My in-laws live 4 1/2 hours away so it's nice to see them when we can :)

For my final Dots look in December I have decided to do a lace and flower look that I saw on @newlypolished on Instagram; they even had a super easy tutorial for me to follow!

I used a bunch of different polishes for this look, including Essie Plumberry, Rica Whiteout, Zoya Hunter, Seche Conquer the World and two OPI minis (which as you know don't have the names printed on them) and topped it off with Fresh Paint Matte Topcoat.

I love how this came out, the white dots, the red dots, the pink dots for the flowers, etc. I did get a little crazy with the number of flowers, but you'll have that :-P

What do you think of this look? Be sure to check out how the other ladies are wrapping up their December dots looks below.

Twinsie Tuesday: Special Double Holiday

The Twinsies decided to get back together this week for not one but TWO holiday themed looks! The group has a nice mix of ladies, some who celebrate Hanukkah and some who celebrate Christmas, and those are the two themes.

I am not super familiar with Hanukkah so I did created this look which used the blue and silver shades that I have seen in Hanukkah decorations.

For this look I used two different blues and a silver, then added some blue glequins for fun. I love how the two blues work together so perfectly, in a subtle manner.

Onto my Christmas look!

With this look I used the stamping decal technique to create the accent nails and I absolutely love how they turned out. I  have tried this technique before but this was probably my favorite attempt at it, and the matte finish gave this look a little something extra.

Time to check out what the other Twinsies created for this Holiday season!
