The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents - Summer - Week 3

This week I'm going to have to squeeze in two Summer NCC posts; with Valentine's looks this month, time almost got away from me.

For this look I decided to just go with something bright, crazy and summery.

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Alpine Snow
-Dear Rus - Noblesse - Venor16
-Dear Rus - Noblesse - Venor05
-Zoya - Paz
-Zoya - Tobey
-Jindie Nails - Eclectric

For this look I started with a base of Alpine Snow to make the colors pop. I then sponged on bright green, yellow, orange and pink randomly. To top everything off, I added the multicolored glitter to not only smooth out the sponging but also to add some other pops of color. I love how the bright matte glitters just give this a whole other look.

Make sure to check out what the other ladies did for their 3rd Summer themed looks!

Dear Rus Polishes - Swatches & Review

Did you have off of work between the holidays? I have had a couple days off; it's a blessing and a curse because I tend to get a little bored, and end up eating too much food and spending too much money. LOL.

Today I am sharing the final Dear Rus polishes that I received from Llarowe for review.

I will go through the descriptions and swatches and then give you my feedback.

Shuffle Blue 603: Clear base with gold, blue and silver glitters

Gemstone Pearl 40: Light golden green scattered holo

Noblesse Glam 608: Clear base with white bar and hex glitter and red holo glitter

Shown over Seche, Happy, As Is

Noblesse Glam 607: Clear base with white bar and hex glitter and silver holo glitter

Shown over Sally Hansen, Pacific Blue

Overall, I liked all of these shades. I am wearing 3 coats of Shuffle Blue 603; but you could absolutely wear it as a topper over a base color, or do a really awesome glitter gradient with it. Gemstone Pearl 40 reminds me a lighter, more sheer version of Butter London Trustafarian. Finally, the Noblesse Glam glitters were fun that would look good over lots of different base color.

You can pick up these and other Dear Rus shades at Llarowe.

Dear Rus Sandstone Collection - Swatches & Review

Today will be sharing with you 3 lovely shades from the Dear Rus Sandstone Collection that I received from Llarowe.

I'll go through the pictures and then give you my thoughts!

Sandstone: Magenta base with holographic multi sized glitter

Sandstone 08: Pink jelly base with holographic multi sized glitter

Sandstone 37: Gold base with holographic multi sized glitter

My overall thoughts!

I really like these polishes. They are fun and jam-packed with glitters. I am wearing two coats in each picture and as you can see they are 100% complete coverage shades. The pictures that I have don't do the glitters justice; they are soooo sparkly in person; these would all be great shades to wear while watching the ball drop on New Years Eve!

Remember that you can pick up these and other Sandstone shades at Llarowe.

Dear Rus New Matte Collection - Swatches & Review

I hope that everyone had a lovely holiday. Today I am sharing 5 polishes from the Dear Rus New Matte Collection that I recently received from Llarowe.

Let me show you the pictures and then give you my thoughts!

New Matte 5: Fluorescent higlighter yellow matte

New Matte 16: Fluorescent bright green matte

New Matte 17: Fluorescent yellow green matte

New Matte 11: Bubble gum pink matte

New Matte 13: Light pinky lilac matte

Onto my overall thoughts!
I REALLY was surprised by some of these shades, the yellow and greens were shades I didn't think I would be impressed by, but I actually love them! Especially, #16!! As with true neons, the yellow and green dry matte and the pinks dry matte as well, but it was a softer matte. When I got the pinks I was a little disappointed at first, I feared that I got 2 of the same shade, and even when I swatched them on my nail wheel, they looked the same, but as you can see from the pictures, they aren't the same and aren't even dupes!

If you are interested in any of these shades, make sure you check out Llarowe and get them on order (I think they are all currently in stock!)
