Happy Easter! I hope all who celebrate are having a nice day. As I mentioned yesterday I haven't really done any Easter nail art, but I will show you my "Easter" mani. It's purple and pastel so close enough right? :-P
Polishes Used:
-Precision Nail Lacquer - Walking on Air
-Acrylic Paints
I had the purple base and couldn't decide what to do with it, so I checked out one of my favorite You Tube Tutorial Channels, that of Jaunty Juli. I really like her channel because she makes all of the manis that she creates, easy to re-create by watching the tutorials. For this look I followed her Ombré Fern Silhouette Nail Art tutorial. Instead of the blue, I decided that this would totally work with the purple that I already had on my nails.
I like how this look turned out although I do wish that I would have mixed my first "fern" color to be a little darker because it is too similar to Walking on Air. When I had this look on, I went to McDonalds and the girl who was working the drive through did a double take on my nails and then asked me to see them and told me how much she liked them; I love when that happens :)
Enjoy the rest of your Easter day!

Liquid Lacquer - Peter Bunny's Cottontail
Today I have a very pretty Limited Edition Easter polish from Liquid Lacquer, Peter Bunny's Cottontail. I recently purchased this polish and really love the color. Here we go!
Polishes Used:
-Liquid Lacquer - Peter Bunny's Cottontail
For the first time in a LONG time, I don't have base or top coats on in these pictures. PBC is a really pretty shade, you can see it above (obviously) it's a pinkish, taupish, nudeish, shade. It has a lovely holo effect but isn't overpowering and you can still see the basecolor of the polish itself.
Make sure to "LIKE" the Liquid Lacquer Facebook Page to get updates on restocks and new colors. Liquid Lacquer can be purchased on her Big Cartel site (which is currently open so you can get some other pretty polishes right now!)

Mini Haul
Today I had off of work for Good Friday so obviously, I ended up shopping; and accidentally had myself a bit of a mini-haul. I went food shopping with my husband atBig Lots and ended up bringing these home with me:
Color Nails Polishes in "Glitter Glam", "Paparazzi", and "Look At Me!", and Sally Hansen Salon Effects "Wishnets". I have never heard of Color Nails before but the polishes came in a 3 pack for $2.50 so I decided to try it. The Salon Effects were on sale too and have liked them when I used them in the past.
Later in the day I ended up at Ulta with my coupon (have you ladies used yours yet?) and purchased the following:
I brought home Sally Hansen Diamond Strength "White Veil", Essie "Marshmallow", Essence "High Spirits" and picked up the OPI NYC Ballet Mini Set.
I don't normally go on buying spree's like this and everything was on sale or with coupons, but it was definitly my first "haul".
I also ended up getting together with one of my girlfriends from high school who was in town visiting with her family and friends for the holiday and did her nails to match her Easter outfit.
Polishes Used:
-Essie - Smooth Sailing (2 coats)
-Sally Hansen Diamond Strength - White Veil (1 coat)
-Out The Door TopCoat

Easter Bunny
As I mentioned earlier this week I wanted to do some fun nails for Easter, since today is my last day of work this week before the holiday I thought these would be perfect. I got the idea from this post from Spektors Nails. She did a great job and I was happy that mine looks like an actual bunny, sometimes my freehand can be questionable. hehe.
Polishes Used:
-Nailtiques - Formula 2 Plus (1 coat)
-Essence - You Belong To Me (2 coats)
-Pure Ice - (for the dots - the color name came off though!)
-NYC - French White Tip (2 coats for the bunny)
-Revlon - Twinkled Pink (for the ears)
-Kiss Nail Art Paint - Black
-Out The Door TopCoat
I will try to get another easter mani in before the holiday on Sunday, however, they may turn into Pittsburgh Pirates or Philadelphia Phillies nails (as Rob and I are going to the games on Saturday AND Sunday)
