Twinsie Tuesday: Accent Nail

Hey Darlings! Today the Twinsies theme is "Accent Nail"; for this look I went with something simple.

Polishes Used:
-Enchanted - A Little Fishy Told Me
-Sally Hansen - Celeb City
-Venique - Twinkling Glitter

I have to admit I had some grander ideas in my head, but I just ran out of time, so I grabbed some colors and did a traditional accent nail.

Let's see what the other ladies did with their accent nails (I can't wait to see!)

Twinsie Tuesday (on Friday): Special Anniversary Post

Happy Friday! Today I have something different to share with you, a Twinsie post of a FRIDAY! This marks the Twinsie's Anniversary and so we are each re-creating another girl's FIRST Twinsie mani.

I will be re-creating ChiChi's first mani, which you can see HERE. She joined the group in February 2012, and her first theme was FRANKEN!

I wasn't sure exactly what sort of Franken polish I would create but I decided to go for a polish similar to what ChiChi created; now onto the look!

For this Franken, I mixed up Essie - Need A Vacation, Milani - Twinkle, and Venique - Twinkling Glitter. I really like the shade that this came out as! The pink was the perfect amount to make it look like a nice jelly sandwich and I felt like it was a cute mix of glitters. Maybe I should go into polish making (Just Kidding!).

What do you think of this polish?
Make sure to check out the other Twinsies as they re-create someone's first TT mani!

Venique - Twinkling Glitter

Today I am showing you Twinkling Glitter, by Venique, one of the polishes that I received from Katee. Twinkling Glitter is a big time GLITTER BOMB.

I was having some trouble capturing the AWESOME-NESS of this glitter so I took a couple outside shots too!

Polishes Used:
-Elmer's Glue (for the base, I will let you know how it goes for the glitter removal process)
-Sally Hansen - Celeb City (for the undies)
-Venique - Twinkling Glitter
-Gelous
-OTD

The outside pictures help show off the glitter of this polish but trust me, it is 20x more awesome in real life. Think, Lisa Frank....speaking of, I think I will try this over a hot pink next time and be SUPER girly. hehe.

Do any of you own this polish? Do you agree it's an awesome glitter bomb?

I Won A Giveaway & Butter London - Trustafarian

I recently won a giveaway hosted by Katee at A Girl and Her Polish. I was so happy to win and I absolutely love her blog!!

Here is a collage of the prizes she sent me:

Butter London - Shag
Butter London - Trustafarian
Claires - Candy Shop
Once Upon A Polish - Whosits & Whatsits Galore!
Venique - Twinkling Glitter
Milani - Twinkle
Rainbow Polish - Polish of my choice!!!

What a wonderful giveaway! I am SURE you're all following Katee's blog already but if not, make sure you check it out.

I am going to go through all of these polishes in the next couple of days, with the exception of the challenge mani's that I am going to be posting of course.

The first polish I am trying out is Butter London Trustafarian. These are my first Butter London polishes and I really like them.

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Butter London - Trustafarian
-OTD

Trustafarian is a lovely light green holo. I have on 3 coats for the pictures and, I know, I know, I put on top coat - I know you're not "supposed" to because it can ruin the rainbow/holo look but thats OK. I still love how this looks and you can still see the holo-ness.

Which of the polishes from Katee is your favorite? What should I try out next?
