Hello Dahlia – A dusty peach shade, this shimmery orange creally sparkles with micro holo dust and golden micro flakes.  Based on the Pantone 2016 Spring/Summer shade Peach Echo. 

Upside Round – Like a good 90’s child, neon makes my heart flutter.  This glitter top coat can add a punch of color to your nails with neon circle glitters in a rainbow of bright shades.  1 coat over your favorite white is 90’s perfection!

Pools Paradise- A lightened, green leaning aqua, Pool Paradise offers pops of neon pink, periwinkle and aqua glitters.  Based on the Pantone 2016 Spring/Summer shade Limpet Shell. 

I Wet My Plants – This pastel periwinkle crelly features a garden full of colorful glitters  in pink, sapphire, silver and purple.  Based on the Pantone 2016 Spring/Summer shade Serenity. 

Purr-fectly Paw-some - New to our Ultra Flair line up, Purr-fectly Paw-some is a pastel moody blue linear holographic polish with steel gray and lavender undertones.  A relaxing twist on a traditional periwinkle shade.  Based on the Pantone 2016 Spring/Summer shade Serenity. 

Mega Flame Collection

Joining fan favorites, Alloy Matey, I Feel Gourd-geous, and Sun and Games, is a new collection of 6 Mega Flame holo shades featuring micro holographic glitters in tinted bases.  Offering full coverage in 2 coats, these mega holo shades can be worn without top coat for a fun, smooth textured finish, or worn with Clearly On Top for ultra-holographic shine.

Ripe For The Pink-ing – A raspberry pink, this mega holo shade is the ideal berry color with blue undertones.

So Flamous – A copper leaning peach, this muted orange shade’s strong holo flame will have you longing for spring. 

Stalk Market – This near celery green yellow is fresh and vibrant for spring.  

Smells Like Green Spirit – A twisted citrus green, this deep lime shade is a refreshing pop of color for warmer weather.

KBShimmer Birthstone Collection Review

Hi Lovelies! Today I'm back to share with you, you guessed it, more KBShimmer polishes! This time, 6 pretty, glittery shades from the Birthstone Collection.

I wasn't sure how to choose which 6 shades to get, so I went with birth months of my family and friends.

Garnet: Garnet is a deepened burgundy red polish loaded with metallic flakes.  A hint of holographic dust adds sparkle and shine to this polish.  

I am wearing 2 coats of color, without topcoat. This shade was picked for my sister, who has a birthday in January.

Diamond: Diamond is a pale silver polish loaded with metallic flakes.  We amped up the holographic dust to max out this polishes sparkle and shine.

I am wearing 2 coats of color, without topcoat. This shade was picked for my dad, who has a birthday in April.

Black Pearl: Black Pearl is a dusty black toned polish with holo sparkle. It is loaded with metallic flakes that take on a golden hue giving this this polish a warm blackened green look. 

I am wearing 1 coat of color, without topcoat. This shade was picked for me! My birthday is in June! However, I must say I was a little disappointed that traditional white pearl was chosen, I would have loved to see a nice sparkly white shade.

Ruby: Our Ruby polish is a warm blue toned red loaded with metallic flakes.  A hint of holographic dust adds sparkle and shine to this polish. 

I am wearing 2 coats of color, without topcoat. This shade was picked for my hubby, who has a birthday in July. (Of course my fur-baby Molly has a birthday in July too)

Sapphire: Sapphire is a rich navy leaning blue loaded with metallic flakes.  A hint of holographic dust adds sparkle and shine to this polish. 

I am wearing 1 coat of color, without topcoat. This shade was not picked for anyone in particular in my family (no September babies here).

Pink Tourmaline: Pink Tourmaline is a vibrant pink loaded with metallic flakes.  A hint of holographic dust adds sparkle and shine to this polish.

I am wearing 2 coats of color, without topcoat. This shade was picked for my mom, who has a birthday in October. Just like June, I wish that this one was based off of October's other stone (Opal).

I'm back!!! At least for today anyway; and I'll be sharing with you 6 of the shades from the KBShimmer Winter/Holiday 2015 Collection, so let's jump in!

Owl Miss You: A soft beige, neutral tan. This feathery polish is filled with golden metallic flakes and a bit of coppery metallic shimmer. 

How Corn-y: An Indian corn inspired polish with burgundy, gold, red and orange glitters in a creamy orange base. 

Fleece Navidad: A soft silvery light gray polish with holographic sparkle and blue micro flakes that shimmer in the sun. (Note: I live in Pittsburgh, there is no sun this time of year, like ever, so the holo stayed hidden in the picture)

Kind Of A Big Dill: Perfect for those that love a pickle on their Christmas tree! This deep, near forest, green is loaded with micro and small silver holographic glitters that shine in the light.

KB Shimmer - I Feel Gourd-geous

This week I will be sharing some polishes from the KBShimmer Fall/Halloween 2015 Collection.

I Feel Gourd-geous: A coppery champagne color, this fine holographic polish shines in the light. Two-three coats offers a beautifully neutral full coverage polish.

For these pictures I used two coats of I Feel Gourd-geous and a quick dry top coat. The application was nice and smooth with this. It's classified as a holo but it sort of reminds me more of a gold glitter polish, perhaps because of the scattered as opposed to linear holo effect. Either way, this is one of my top picks from the collection for sure and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

KBShimmer - Such A Vlad-Ass

This week I will be sharing some polishes from the KBShimmer Fall/Halloween 2015 Collection.

Such A Vlad-Ass: A deepened blood red cream, this polish has a slight blue undertone. With two coat coverage this deep red is sure to be a fall classic. 

For these pictures I used two coats of Such A Vlad-Ass along with a quick dry topcoat. I probably could have gotten away with one coat but there was a slight VNL so I decided to use two. The formula was nice and wasn't streaky at all.

KBShimmer - Soul Deep

This week I will be sharing some polishes from the KBShimmer Fall/Halloween 2015 Collection.

Soul Deep: A blackened blurple cream, this deep midnight blue has purple undertones for a dark and dramatic 1-2 coat coverage cream. 

This polish is a true one coater, which I LOVE. I used one coat plus a quick dry topcoat for these pictures. This shade looks black in the photos but has a nice purple hint to it in real life. I love deep dark colors for fall and winter so this will probably be a shade that is added into my regular rotation.

KBShimmer - Open Toad Shoes

This week I will be sharing some polishes from the KBShimmer Fall/Halloween 2015 Collection.

Open Toad Shoes: A soft olive green crelly, this polish offers pops of navy, burgundy, and chartreuse glitters with hints of holographic shimmer. Based on the Pantone Fall 2015 color Dried Herbs, this shade offers coverage in 2-3 coats.

For these pictures I used three thin coats of polish topped with a quick dry top coat. This one had such a unique color and I thought for sure that it would be my favorite of the bunch; however, I don't think that this particular shade worked with my skin tone as well as I had hoped. Be sure to check out other swatches of this one as you can see how gorgeous it looks on others.

KBShimmer - I've Seen Sweater Days

This week I will be sharing some polishes from the KBShimmer Fall/Halloween 2015 Collection.

I've Seen Sweater Days: A muted teal crelly, pops of cobalt blue glitter, lime green holo glitters and silver glitters accent this polish. 3 coats are recommended for full coverage. 

Here I used three coats of color and topped it off with a quick dry topcoat. I LOVED the formula on this; it was thin which made it perfect to add three coats without getting too thick. I am usually fairly heavy handed when it comes to crelly polishes, and this formula made my application a breeze. And who doesn't love a good teal polish.

KBShimmer - Be Scareful

This week I will be sharing some polishes from the KBShimmer Fall/Halloween 2015 Collection.

Be Scareful: Dots, shreds and circles in orange and black swim among a near white crelly base. After dark this polish glows ghoulish green. 

For these pictures I used three thin coats of Be Scareful topped with a quick dry topcoat. The formula on this polish was really nice, for a crelly I was able to get a nice amount of glitter onto each nail without fishing and the polish wasn't too thick. 

Be Scareful also glows in the dark, which is perfect for Halloween, but unfortunately I was unable to grab any glowing pictures.
