OOAK Liquid Lacquer - Hephaestus

I recently got the opportunity to pick up a couple OOAK / TOAK polishes from Liquid Lacquer. Today I am going to show you Hephaestus, a really pretty gold/green/gray holo.

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Liquid Lacquer - Hephaestus

This is a REALLY pretty color but unfortunately it was cloudy outside so I didn't get any good holo pics in the sun. The application of this polish was really smooth and I only wore one coat. I have a feeling that this is going to be a great polish to stamp with, so be on the lookout to see it used in some upcoming posts.

Short and Sweet today, but if you like Liquid Lacquer polishes, make sure to check out her Facebook page for the latest polish restock information. February 1st she will be stocking the Dream Chasing Collection.

Let It Snow! Challenge - Snowmen

This week's Let It Snow! Challenge theme is snowmen. Last week was actually really cold and snowy but this week has been all over the place so far in terms of weather. I'm not really in the snowmen mood in real life so I wasn't super motivated to do the nails, but overall, I think they came out cute :)

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-NYC - Sidewalkers
-Konad - Black
-Konad - Red
-Konad - Pink
-Konad - White
-Liquid Lacquer - No Time
-BSP Plate - QA19

In case you weren't sure, yes, I do like Valentines Day, and yes, that is why I have some red and pink snowmen in my design too. hehe. This was a really simple design to create and I love how it looks like some of the snowmen are holding hands.

Make sure to check out what the other ladies did for their snowmen nails (I know there are some really cool manis out there!)

OPI - Mariah Carey Liquid Sand Polishes - Part 2

Hey Loves! I know it's been over a week since I showed you swatches of the first two Mariah Carey Liquid Sand polishes, but today I am showing you the remaining polishes!

First we have the blue; Get Your Number:

I really like this shade! Out of all 4 colors it has the most sort of silver holo glitters in it so it gives some really pretty sparkle.

Next up, the final shade; Stay The Night:

I love that this shade has the red/pink glitters in. I thought that this would be my favorite color, but I really can't pick one. I seriously loved all of the shades in this Liquid Sand collection and I am interested to see what colors they come out with next.

Do you have any of the Liquid Sand polishes? Which shade out of the 4 is your favorite?

Liquid Lacquer - The Dream Chasing Collection - Part 2

Happy Monday!

Today I am going to be showing you the second half of The Dream Chasing Collection!

From top left to right, Handful of Dust, My Renaissance, A Calm Does Not Suit Me, and Only I Remain

You can check out yesterday's post for the background of the collection, but let's get onto the polish!

Handful of Dust:
"I'll show you dust in a handful of dust" ~T.S. Elliot

This polish is a really pretty mix of green, blue, silver and orange little glitters. It is pretty jam packed with glitter in one coat, but I have on two coats on my accent nail and one to three on my gradient nails. I have this mani topped with one coat of gelous and a quick dry TC.

Only I Remain:
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it is gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see it's path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing...Only I will remain." ~Frank Herbert

Only I Remain is an amazing glitter with multiple shapes and sizes of different blues and greens. There are some larger glitters that came out on their own with this polish one 3-4 nails, I like that they add a little something here and there but aren't overpowering. I have on one coat over-top of a black polish, topped with one coat of gelous and a matte topcoat.
But... I also used this polish for another look to!

Gah! I really love this polish, although it's not a white crelly, it's probably tied for first place for "favorite polish of the collection".

But wait! This post isn't over.

Liquid Lacquer is now selling  a quick dry Top Coat (similar to OTD) and cuticle oils as well! I have used "No Time", the TC for all of the photos in the past two days (with the exception of the pictures with matte finish. I have also been using the cuticle oil and really like it!

From Left to Right: No Time, Grab A Cup, Cake For Breakfast, and Saturday Morning Cereal.

Grab a cup smells like a cup of hot chocolate/mocha. Cake for Breakfast smells just like vanilla cake and Saturday Morning Cereal smells like Fruity Pebbles. YUM YUM YUM!!!

Which polish is your favorite from the collection? Don't forget to get up to date news by following the Liquid Lacquer Facebook Page!
