The Digit-al Dozen Does: Fairytales - Look 5

I have made it through my first week of the Digit-al Dozen! Whoohoo! Today my look was inspired by The Princess and The Pea.

Instead of doing something literal, I just went with layers and the little green peas. I added the silver swirls to make it a little more regal, but I think it may have made it a little too busy.

It's been really fun joining the ladies of the Digit-al Dozen this week and I look forward to all the upcoming themes we will do! Be sure to check out how the other ladies are wrapping of this Fairytale week.

The Digit-al Dozen Does: Fairytales - Look 4

Day 4 of Fairytales is upon us and for today I decided to turn to the internet for some inspiration.

I found this super cute picture online and decided I would try to re-create it. It's a little princess and her frog, which is very fairytale-esqe.

I am so much happier with how today's freehand look turned out compared to yesterday's, lol. I think that this has a childish and whimsical feel that captures illustrations within fairytales. Overall, I am really pleased with this look.

The Digit-al Dozen Does: Fairytales - Look 3

Today for my 3rd Fairytale themed look I decided to venture out from stamping and did a little of freehand work. Unfortunately, I am not really in love with this and every time I do freehand it reminds me why I don't do freehand lol. This look was inspired by the fairytale Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

HAHA - UMMM, look at that crazy Goldilocks. Well I tried, at least the bears are sort of cute. I don't mind this look too  much it's very simple and cartoon looking, but that girls face seriously kills me, I can't stop laughing at it.

So yeah, lol we will leave it at that, but be sure to check out what the other ladies have done with their 3rd Fairytales looks!

The Digit-al Dozen Does: Fairytales - Look 2

Happy Tuesday!

Today I have my second Digit-al Dozen Fairytales look to share with you.

Once again I went with some simple and adorable stamping. These little prince and princesses are just too cute if you ask me! The base is light pink and a medium pink sponged look but you can't really see it so well under the stamping, I think I picked shades that were too close together.

The Digit-al Dozen Does: Fairytales - Look 1

Well isn't this an exciting turn of events.... I was asked to join the super talented ladies of the Digit-al Dozen, and for my first theme in the group we are doing a Fairytale theme :)

I am not super hot with my freehand, but I don't have a ton of fairytale stamping images either so this week we will get to see a little bit of both.

For my first look, I decided to go with some adorable stamped dragons over a pastel base. This isn't based on a specific fairytale but more along the lines that there are dragons in some of them. I like how this look came out, really soft and whimsical.
