Sinful Colors - Dancing Nails

Happy Monday! In keeping with the Valentines Day / February theme, I am using one of my untried pinks; Sinful Colors, Dancing Nails.

Once again, I have no idea why this polish was still in my un-tried pile! It's a gorgeous, shimmer coral leaning pink polish. I have two coats on in the pictures and it is completely opaque. The application was really great too; for having some metallic in it, it wasn't even streaky.

February Nail Art Challenge - Hearts

Yesterday I decided to join in on the February Nail Art Challenge that is being hosted by Samantha of Southern Sparkle Nail Art. I am a day behind but am just going to skip the first challenge. Here is the list of themes.

This was a huge pain the butt for clean up so please excuse that. And I was surprised how difficult it was to actually get this image to stamp straight, overall though, I like the look of these nails. They are fun but not overpowering since I didn't do all the nails.

Let It Snow! Challenge - Hot Chocolate

Yay for the weekend! This week's theme in the Let It Snow! Challenge is "Hot Chocolate". Even though I haven't tried it since the 31 day challenge back in May, I knew I wanted to try a water marble for this theme.

It's not the best, and it has some bubbles but I see a definite improvement since my last attempt which was a hot mess. LOL.

This mani reminds me of when you're swirling / mixing the cocoa and milk together to make the hot chocolate. Also, since it's February I added a little glittery heart sticker to stay in the Valentine's Day mood. Hot Chocolate is a good theme for today because it's been cold and snowy lately in Pittsburgh and Hot Chocolate is the perfect remedy!

So I clearly still have some issues with water marbling, so if anyone has any idea how to help avoid bubbles and any great tips for clean up, please let me know!!!

OOAK Liquid Lacquer - Swallow Your Pride

Yay! It's Friday! TGIF!!!

So in honor of today's Liquid Lacquer restock on Big Cartel, I am showing you another OOAK polish that I was able to purchase from Melissa; Swallow Your Pride. I knew that I had to have this polish as soon as I saw it, it was fun, had circle glitter, and was blue!

I love how this polish just pops against my skin! I think its one of those polishes that would look good on ALL skin tones though. I have on two coats of Swallow Your Pride in the pictures. It has pinkish red and silver glitters in multiple shapes and sizes and a little bit of pinkish shimmer in the blue creamy base. This would be a fun polish for a patriotic mani later this year!

P.S. Since it is February, excluding today, I am going to try to post something Valentine's Day related everyday until the 14th. It's the perfect holiday for me since I love hearts and pink and glitters and everything else. lol. <3 <3 <3
