Joyful Noise Cosmetics - Rainbow Fish, Whisper Down Delainie & Garden Party

Today I have three glitter toppers from Joyful Noise Cosmetics to share with you; Rainbow Fish, Whisper Down Delainie & Garden Party.

First up, Rainbow Fish:

Laura describes this shade as "Rainbow Fish is one of my new favorites- a color explosion of satin matte hex glitters swimming in a fine holographic shimmer base! Named after a favorite children's book of mine (at least, that's what I called it when I was a kid!) you can't miss this beauty! At any event, wear this and you are sure to shine!!"

This is really a lovely topper to any color polish, I wore it over Almost Famous, topped with Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love, but it would also looks awesome over white, black, any primary or secondary color and you have an awesome combo. I love the look of glitter toppers mattified.

Next up we have Whisper Down Delainie:

Laura describes this topper as "An array of pink, teal, and green holographic glitters in small and medium sizes, it is named for Miss Delainie of Dee's Polish www.deespolish.com/ Delainie donated to my Indiegogo Campaign back in January, and chose the "Name a Product After Me" perk! I have to tell you, I'm pretty tickled with this name!!"

I am wearing one coat of WDD over Wet 'n Wild  Through The Grapevine, topped with Poshe. I love all the colored glitters in this polish and think it's very fun that Delanie got to name this polish. I was able to snag all of these polishes from Joyful Noise Cosmetics during Laura's Indiegogo campaign as well!

Last but not least, we have Garden Party:

Laura describes Garden Party as "Fine neon green, and square neon pink glitters, punctuated with black holographic hexes!"

I am wearing one coat of Garden Party over Revlon Emerald and topped with Poshe. Neon glitters are very on trend right now and I can't seem to get enough. I used this over a darker polish but it would also look good over a lighter green, such as my go to Sally Hansen - Parrot.

What do you think of these toppers? They are all currently available on the Joyful Noise Cosmetics Etsy Site; and don't forget to LIKE the Joyful Noise Cosmetics Facebook Page to get the latest information on restocks.

Joyful Noise Cosmetics - Midnight Beach Party & Those Summer Nights

Happy Monday!!!

Today I have two polishes to show you from Joyful Noise Cosmetics; Midnight Beach Party and Summer Nights!

First up is Midnight Beach Party:

Laura describes Midnight Beach Party as "Pure metallic silver base, with gold and silver holographic glitters in various sizes and shapes."

I am wearing two coats of Midnight Beach Party topped with Poshe. I didn't notice too many gold glitters, but this is a fun mix between a plain metallic base, and a completely silver glitter polish.

Next up, Those Summer Nights:

Laura describes this polish as "A rich, deep amethyst base with a rainbow of metallic glitters. A very fun polish to have in your collection!"

I am wearing two coats of polish, topped with Gelous and Poshe. This is a really unique polish, as you don't see too many frosty bases with glitter mixed. It's pretty but may require two coats of Gelous as it seemed to suck mine right up!

Do you own any Joyful Noise Cosmetics? You can purchase these and other products at the Joyful Noise Cosmetics Etsy Site and make sure to check out the JNC Facebook Page for restock information.

Summer Mani Challenge - Yellow Polka Dot Bikini

Happy Sunday!

I have decided to participate in another summer challenge with some of my fellow East Coast nail polish lovers :)

The first theme is Yellow Polka Dot Bikini:

Polishes Used:
-Bonita - Yellow
-Konad - White
-Northern Lights
-MASH-48

So this probably isn't exactly what your typical yellow polka dot bikini looks like but I wanted to do something a little different, fancier.

This is actaully the first time that I have worn this yellow as a base on any mani, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but it's not actually too bad.

Stay tuned for next week's Summer Mani Challenge theme; Summer Glitter!

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents - Neons Week 1

I can't believe that it's already JUNE!!! My birthday month! Whoohoo!

This months theme in the Nail Challenge Collaborative, is Neons! I voted for Neons and think they are perfect for summer, the only issue can be photographing their true color so I have thrown in a cell phone pic here that seemed to capture it as well ;)

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-MiniLuxe - Lolita
-Kiss Nail Art Striper - White
-Kiss Nail Art Striper - Beach Pink
-Sinful Colors Nail Art Striper - Sunny Day
-Hard Candy - Matte-ly In Love

I really LOVE this mani, it's perfect for summer and reminds me of a fun bright neon tie die! If you have followed my blog at all you know that this  striped gradient technique is one of my favorites. It is ridiculously easy and there is no messing it up because it's all free-style.  I can't get enough of this mani!

Here is a photo of the polishes that I used from my phone, which is the closest representation to their true neon color. (P.S. Don't look at how wrinkly my hands look in the second picture blah!)

See what I mean about the true colors? It's hard to capture, and (luckily?) I know I'm not the only one with this issue.

Make sure to check out the other ladies fun summer neon manis!

Featured Blogger!

HAPPY JUNE!

Today I am the Featured Blogger over at Peace, Love and Polish.

Heather has a great blog and does some awesome manis. She recently had a baby and has been having guest bloggers, but I am amazed that she has still been able to get some of her own manis done too with a 1 month old!

If you check out her blog today, you can see my segment and also some pictures of her cute little man, Connor!

P.S. I recently hit 1000 GFC followers and I am seriously so excited! I appreciate everyone's support so much, and I hope you all stick with me, I have some fun things planned for this summer!!!
