31 Day Challenge - Day 1: Red

Kelsie from over at Kelsies Nail Files was interested in doing the 31 Day Challenge and she opened it up to some other lovely ladies. For the entire month of May, I will be participating with Kelsie, Amanda, and Erin in the challenge. Here is the day by day breakdown incase you are not familiar with it:


Day 1: Red Nails





Polishes Used:
-Nailtiques - Formula 2 Plus
-OPI - On Collins Ave
-Funky Fingers - Burgundy Scales
-OTD TopCoat

I don't own any "red-red" polishes so I used something red-orange and something more red-purple to even it out. I actually liked this tone on tone crackle effect and will probably try it again with some other colors once that challenge is over.

    I am not a big fan of crackle/shatter polishes, but this color combo is fantastic, it gives an unusually elegant feel to crackle, I love it! :)

    I like the monochromatic look. I was just asking some of the gals from the Spring Manicure Challenge if they wanted to do the 31 days together. I think I'm going to join you and see if any others are ready.

    Looks cool. I like the subtle red on red crackle. I've always wanted to try one of these challenges.. maybe I should this month haha
