Lazy Days of Summer - BBQ Fun

Today's post is my final post in the Lazy Days of Summer Challenge. I had so much fun working on this challenge with the other ladies, and loved that it was go at your own pace. We grill out a lot and I looked forward to BBQ Fun.

-Out The Door - TopCoat

I wanted this mani to look like red hot fire under the grill. I started with Hazard and then when I added the crackle polish it spiced things up, and we all know how I feel about stripes - LOVE THEM! Do you like this mani? It was very simple but totally inspired by BBQ Fun.

31 Day Challenge: Day 21 - Inspired By A Color

I can't believe we are already 2/3 of the way through this challenge, and unfortunately we are done with my favorite section, "patterns". Here is day by day breakdown as a refresher.

So today's challenge was inspired by a color. This one is so vague I wasn't really sure what to do, so I looked through some other bloggers sites who had previously done the challenge and it seems like today is a bit of "anything goes"; which I like :) One of my favorite shade trends lately is teal. I have fallen in love with all greens, teals and blues lately so I just went with that.

31 Day Challenge - Day 1: Red

Kelsie from over at Kelsies Nail Files was interested in doing the 31 Day Challenge and she opened it up to some other lovely ladies. For the entire month of May, I will be participating with Kelsie, Amanda, and Erin in the challenge. Here is the day by day breakdown incase you are not familiar with it:

Day 1: Red Nails

Polishes Used:
-Nailtiques - Formula 2 Plus
-OPI - On Collins Ave
-Funky Fingers - Burgundy Scales
-OTD TopCoat

I don't own any "red-red" polishes so I used something red-orange and something more red-purple to even it out. I actually liked this tone on tone crackle effect and will probably try it again with some other colors once that challenge is over.
