Nail Art For Nubs Link-Up

Since today is the last Nail Art for Nubs Link-Up before Christmas, I decided I had to do something festive!

Polishes Used:

-Konad - White
-Cheeky Jumbo Plate 6 - Happy Holidays

This was a really fun mani to wear (I wore it last week to the office) and I got a lot of compliments from my co-workers. I really like stamping over a textured base because it almost seems to grab the image off the stamper better and really "holds" it on (if that makes sense?).

Check out what the other ladies did with their Nubs but I am guessing there are going to be a couple other festive holiday looks for Christmas and the Holiday Season.

Falling For Nail Art Challenge: Great Pumpkin

Today's theme in the Falling For Nail Art Challenge is Great Pumpkin!

I decided once again to use my new stamping plate from Cheeky :)

-Julie G - Tangerine Dreams
-Konad - White
-Cheeky - Jumbo Plate 6

I wanted to do stamping since my freehand pumpkin skills aren't exactly up to par (you can see an old one here) and I didn't want to do it over a plain orange base, so I added both of the JulieG shades as undies to the stamping :)

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents - Stamping Week 2

Happy Saturday!!!

So today's post is my second mani in the May Nail Challenge Collaborative theme, Stamping. Since I have been loving all the JulieG Gumdrop polishes this week, I decided to incorporate those into my post for today.

I love the gradient moving from the orange to the red on these nails; and with the stamping, let me let you in on a little secret, I didn't actually do a gradient! Just put on the orange, then the red-orange, then the red and freehanded each color; once I added the stamping, it really smoothed out the look of a gradient. I love this look and was happy that I got to use this image which I hadn't used before.

JulieG Gumdrop Week - Crushed Candy

Happy Friday!!!

Today you will see the final polish of the Gumdrop Collection; Crushed Candy.

I am wearing two coats of Crushed Candy with no topcoat. This shade is also silver leaning and I love it. It's a nice gentle purple that I would *almost* consider a neutral with my skin tone  I will definitely be wearing this shade again soon!

JulieG Gumdrop Week - Blueberry Fizz

Today I am showing you Blueberry Fizz; the lovely blue shade of the Collection. This one seems to be a favorite among a lot of fellow polish enthusiasts.

I am wearing two coats of Blueberry Fizz without topcoat. I have to admit that this is one of my favorites as well. I love how there is a silver tint in with this shade; and how it is a periwinkle leaning blue; VERY PRETTY.

JulieG Gumdrop Week - Rock Candy

Welcome Loves!

Today I will be showing you the fourth polish in the Gumdrop Collection, Rock Candy!

I am wearing two coats of Rock Candy without topcoat in these photos. Rock Candy is a gorgeous teal shade with small and medium silver glitters. This is one of my favorites out of the entire collection and can't wait to wear it again!

JulieG Gumdrop Week - Tangerine Dream

Happy Tuesday Love!

Today we are on day 3 of JulieG Gumdrop Week and I will be showing you Tangerine Dream!

I am wearing two coats of Tangerine Dream with no topcoat. I love how juicy and citrus-y this shade looks! The application of this shade was very easy as well! I like how this color doesn't automatically scream Halloween as some orange shades do. Win!

JulieG Gumdrop Week - Sugar Rush

Happy Monday!

Welcome back for Day 2 of JulieG Gumdrop Week! Today I will be sharing with you Sugar Rush, which is a lovely coral red orange polish.

I have on two coats of polish here and no topcoat. As with Hot Cinnamon, Sugar Rush had very easy application. I didn't have any issues with the texture moving around when you apply a second coat as I have seen with other textured polishes. It is a lovely color and it appears to be a favorite among bloggers.

JulieG Gumdrop Week - Hot Cinnamon

I recently purchased the JulieG Gumdrop collection off of Groupon and this week I will be sharing the whole collection with you!

First up is Hot Cinnamon:

Hot Cinnamon is a lovely red textured polish. I only have one coat on in the photos because it was that opaque. No topcoat either since I love these textured polishes! The application of Hot Cinnamon is easy and flawless.
