Irresistible Me Hair Royal Remy Hair Extension Review

I recently was contacted by Irresistible Me to see if I would like to review one of their products. I jumped on the chance to do something different on the blog and I have always wanted to try out hair extensions. My hair is thin and takes forever to grow so I was hoping these extensions would give me a fuller look in addition to length, and I was not disappointed.

Anyway, let's take a look at how I was rocking these extensions over the weekend!

I LOVE THESE!!!! I wore them all weekend and felt so confident in my look while I was wearing them.  The color of the extensions is slightly lighter than my natural color, but lucky me, I had highlights that I was letting grow out so these blended PERFECTLY. I can't wait to try these out for the workday sometime soon!

Some information about the hair extensions that I received:

• Type: Royal Remy
• Color: Ash Blonde
• Length: 14"
• Weight: 200g

In the box I received numerous clip in extensions; 1 four clip waft, 2 three clip wafts, 4 two clip wafts, and 2 one clip wafts. One waft came packaged separately so that the user could test the color before opening up the whole package. I really liked this feature, because had a ordered a different shade that didn't match so well, the large bundle would still be able to be used again if I had to return them. 

Given my hair was so thin, I found I didn't even need to use all of the wafts. In the pictures and what I ended up wearing out all weekend, was 1 four clip, 1 three clip and 2 single clips; you really do get a lot of hair for your money. Since the extensions are made from 100% real human hair, you and wash and style them as you would your own hair!

All swatches are shown with two coats of polish plus topcoat. 

Even though this is a smaller collection, I really like that it contains a variety of shades and finishes as well. I found the formulas to be self leveling and no issues with the application at all. Generally I like the formulas on China Glaze polishes and these were no different. If you like China Glaze, you'll like this mini collection for sure.

Today I am so excited to share with you my review of the China Glaze Electric Nights Collection!! I love that summer collections are coming out already because it gets me excited for the warmer weather that is hopefully on the way. Let's jump right in!

Whoa! There you have it the entire collection!

Onto my thoughts... first of all, my camera hates shooting neons and brights, I tried to take pictures outside but after the first swatch, it became cloudy and rainy all of a sudden so they were all indoors as usual. Thank you Pittsburgh weather, LOL.

I love bright colors for spring and summer and if you do too then this collection is perfect for you. Application and formula was really nice actually with these shades. Sometimes they can tend to be thin and streaky, but with two coats (how I have my color swatches) they seemed really self leveling and smooth. The glitters are really fun too, I have shown them over white but they would also look lovely over a plethora of colors.

If I had to change anything about this collection, I would have done a darker pink maybe and a purple based glitter and skipped out on one of the blues, but generally I think there are a bunch of pretty colors and everyone will be able to find one that they like.

Barielle Bling It On Collection for Spring 2015

Today I am excited to share with you on the new glitter collections for Spring 2015 from Barielle, "Bling It On". Barielle describes this collection as, "featuring some truly fashion forward, dazzling color combinations of glitter. These vibrant glitters are perfect worn alone or they can add an exciting dimension to a manicure when worn as a topcoat, french tip or reverse french."

Let's jump right in to the collection!

In general, I like the look of this collection. I opted to wear the shades as glitter toppers as opposed to alone after seeing a couple swatches both ways. Usually I am not a fan of multiple coats or visible nail lines so wearing them as toppers was definitely the right choice for my preferences. 

My favorite shade from the collection is Golden Halo. It is the color that I would be most likely to wear on a  regular basis, it reminded me of my prom dress from high school and was something that I felt I could wear to work as well. Also, Shooting Star was very pretty and had a purple tint which I was unable to capture in these pictures, be sure to check out my Instagram later today as I have a couple cell phone pictures that I was able to capture the pretty purple color in :)

Onto the not so good. I am confused by Amethyst. The other polishes in the collection seem to follow an iridescent shimmery theme with micro glitters and larger ones but this shade was just plain glitters and unfortunately they did have a little bit of curling and took some fishing. I wish they would have just made a purple version of the other polishes. Also, I didn't love the formula on these ones, it was a little on the thicker side so it didn't really come off the brush as nicely as I had hoped, although it was't horrible.
