Pretty & Polished - Mannequin Hands & King of C-C-Cool

During the Holiday break, I picked up a bottle of Pretty & Polished - Mannequin Hands. I had my eye on this for a while, and when it was re-stocked I jumped on the opportunity to pick it up. I have been loving neutrals lately and this fits right into that category.

Polishes Used:
-Pretty & Polished - Mannequin Hands
-OTD

Chels has this to say about Mannequin Hands on her Etsy site:
"Mannequin Hands was born out of my love for natural neutral polishes. I really enjoy the look of not wearing anything but I wanted a polish that was a little more fancy and girly. Mannequin Hands has a very light skin tone base and is packed with pastel pink hex glitters. A good choice for work attire!"

I have  on two coats for the pictures, and although it is not completely opaque, it gives your nails a nice pretty, and soft look.

I really like this for a fun twist on plain neutral polish!

Next up, we have King of C-C-Cool.

Polishes Used:
-Pretty & Polished - King of C-C-Cool
-Gelous
-OTD

Chels has this to say about King of C-C-Cool on her Etsy site:
"King of C-C-Cool represents the Ice King from the cartoon Adventure Time. The Ice King is a blue dude packed with a grandeur mass of white, red, blue and yellow glitters."

I have on 3 coats in the pictures and feel that this is pretty opaque. The application was nice and smooth as well.

Which do you like better? I know both are very different, but today, I am loving the blues so my favorite would be King of C-C-Cool.

Pretty & Polished - Jawbreaker

This is my 200th post! Whoohoo! So exciting, and pleased with myself for finding something that I really enjoy doing and sticking with it.

Coincidentally, today I will be showing you Jawbreaker by Pretty & Polished, a polish that I had been lemming for a while now and finally ended up purchasing, and I am so glad I did, because I love it!

Polishes Used:
-Nailtiques - Formula 2 Plus
-Pretty & Polished - Jawbreaker
-Gelous
-OTD

I am wearing 3 coats of Jawbreaker for the pictures. As always, I LOVE all glitter polishes in a jelly white base and Jawbreaker does not disappoint. It's application is great without any clumping as some polishes are known to do. I did have a little trouble getting some of the larger glitters out but I didn't try too hard.

You can check out Chelsea's awesome polishes at the following, I purchased my polish on Etsy:

Do you love this color as much as I do? Do you own any polishes from Pretty & Polished?

Candy Coated Purple Zebra

Ok, so one or two more mani's before I shellac my nails :) I made a mistake in my mani yesterday and forgot to wear a base coat so my nails are stained pretty bad; and I dont want to put the shellac over that. Also, something came over me and a filed down all my nails... and my pinky got the worst of it, but that's OK, they will grow back out soon. I can't believe that I am saying that because my nails used to be horrible and they never grew, but now they are nice and strong. I am crediting Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus for that :)

Moving on, I needed to do a mani that would cover up the staining, so here we go!

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Pretty & Polished - Candy Coated
-Funky Fingers - Cheshire
-Konad Plate m57
-Out The Door - TopCoat

What do you think? I think this is a super fun mani and that the colors look great together.

Also, did you notice my new banner at the top of the page, Hannah from Polished Prisms introduced me to PicMonkey which is how I did it; I love how it makes my page look; more professional, lol. Thanks Hannah!
