Eat Sleep Polish - À La Menthe

TGIF, am I right? I recently won a gorgeous polish from Eat Sleep Polish, À La Menthe and today I will be sharing my pictures!

From the East Sleep Polish Website: À La Menthe started as a custom, and because of its overwhelming love, it has been added to the standard collection! A very beautiful liner holographic polish, that is minty green (not grey). This is sure to catch they eye of bystanders in the sunlight.

So before I get into the pictures, just let me say that Caterina is just so sweet; you can tell that she is very passionate about her business, which is awesome.

It came in the most adorable little kitty polish sweater to keep the polish warm!!!

Do you see that house in the background? Yep, she made that house for the polish to live in! Of course I am somewhat blocking the opening but can you see the windows in the back? She probably put so much time into this, how amazing is that?! So anyway I accidentally heavy handed it when I was carrying it and knocked the roof slightly ajar; so now it's carefully placed on top of my Melmer for safe keeping with the polish.

So anyway, onto the actual polish! (it's about time, right?)

I am wearing two coats of À La Menthe with topcoat in the pictures; isn't this a gorgeous shade. Also, I really liked that the polish came with a wide brush, I am so spoiled, but I only want to use wide brushes these days.

Although I received this polish as a prize, I can say without a doubt, it won't be my last ESP Polish!

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents - Flowers - Week 4

TGIF!!!

Hope you're all excited that it's Friday! Today I have my last Nail Challenge Collaborative mani for July, Flowers #4!

Polishes Used:
-China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle
-Kiss - White
-China Glaze - Purr-fect Plum
-China Glaze - Gothic Lolita
-HK Girl Topcoat

I haven't used the final polish of the China Glaze Sunsational collection, Too Yacht to Handle. I will definitely be wearing this shade alone because it is just so gorgeous. Since it's the end of the month, it turns out that I don't like flowers as much as I did unless they are stamped. My freehand flower skills aren't great. Anyway, overall I am please with this design and like the contrasting colors together.

Wedding Nails

Yesterday, I to our friends wedding up in Erie. I was wearing a dress with a pattern in blues, greens, and teal and so I didn't want my nails to be too dramatic, so I went with something very simple, yet pretty.

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Essence - You Belong to Me
-Sally Hansen - White Veil
-Out The Door - TopCoat

You Belong to Me has been my go-to color this summer. As we all know I love mints and teals right now and I have actually used this polish to the point where I have to hold the bottle to the side to get the polish out! Unfortunately, my Ulta hasn't been restocking Essence polishes so I can't get another bottle right now (maybe they are waiting for the new Colour and Go style bottles?)

The colors in this mani remind me of perfect wedding colors, almost Tiffany inspired but lighter and with a small twist. What sorts of mani's do you wear to your friends' weddings? Just something simple, or do you go all out?

New Teals

Went to the store this weekend and picked up two teals, so here we go!

Polishes Used:
-Nailtiques - Formula 2 Plus
-Wet 'n Wild Megalast - I need a Refresh-Mint (2 coats) (lighter color)
-Sinful Colors - Savage (2 coats) (darker color)
-Out The Door - TopCoat

I dotted some accents onto my ring finger with the two colors just to add a little something extra. When I used Savage I got something that I didnt expect; it's MATTE! It was fun matte so I will definitly be using it again as a plain matte, maybe adding some silver stamping or something could be cute. Both colors had nice application too.
