Today I'll be sharing with you 7 pretty shades from A Rhyming Dictionary Polish. Morgan from A Rhyming Dictionary Polish is a super sweet girl and I was excited when she asked me if I wanted to try some of her polishes.
Show and Tell--
One of Calvin’s favorite ways to disgust his fellow classmates is by bringing in whatever gross stuff he can find, usually a big bag of dead bugs. The polish is a gold hued holo (spectraflair) with gold and orange flakies interspersed.
This is a really unique shade, and I don't have anything like this in my collection. I really like how this has flakies and holo, it was a fun combination. This is two coats with topcoat.
Moe-- We all had one. He calls Calvin a twinky all the time and steals his lunch money. Calvin: “Are your antisocial tendencies the product of your berserk pituitary gland?” Moe: “What?”An aqua holo (spectraflair) with a warm tint.
This is such a fun shade, I loved how it was a bit of metallic but holo. I am wearing two coats here but you can definitely get away with one with this polish.
Susie--
Named after the one and only Susie Derkins, Calvin’s frenemy and neighbor, lunch mate and snowball target who has a soft spot for the cuddly stuffed tiger Hobbes. A periwinkle blue holo made with spectraflair this is a subtler holo, it's not totally in your face. Finish is matte until top coated.
As mentioned in the description, this dries to a matte finish, I am wearing topcoat here but either way you wear it, it's a really pretty shade.
The Transmogrifier--
The transmogrifier is an upside-down cardboard box with a dial on the side that could be set to whatever the user wished to be turned into. The transmogrifier's dial is an arrow that is turned to a setting, which is whatever animal, plant, or thing you want. During its first trial, "Calvin" and "Tiger" settings were added for Calvin to turn into a tiger and back. Little known fact: the transmogrifier will only work if the cardboard box is upside down. Blue sparks with iridescent shine to it this polish is hard to capture accurately.
I am wearing one coat of Transmogrifier over Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. This is a lovely glitter topper or could be built up into nice jelly glitter.
Bath Time--
We all lamented bathtime as kids but Calvin takes the cake. His love of tsunami’s and antics in the bath make it one of Calvin’s mom’s least favorite times of day as well. Micro flakes of copper, blue, orange, and gold make for a complex depth, like that of deeply embedded mud and clay.
I am wearing two coats of color with topcoat. I love how full coverage this glittery shimmer shade is in just two coats.
G.R.O.S.S--
Get Rid Of Slimy girlS Calvin and Hobbes create an exclusive club with the primary purpose of excluding and bugging girls. Susie Derkins is frequently the target of the club's activities. Famous for their extremely long password, all the verses are dedicated to praising tigers, since Hobbes is the only one who can climb to the treehouse without a rope ladder. The polish itself is a girly mix of white circles, silver hexes, gunmetal holo hexes, pink holo circles, neon pink squares, flat pink hexes and tiny pink holo hexes.
I am wearing one coat of this glitter topper over Morgan Taylor Berry Perfection. This combination of glitter would look good over a broad spectrum of base colors. There was also a nice distribution of glitter in just this one coat.
Lots of Tiny Snowmen - This is a glitter topper packed with multicolored circle glitters in all shapes and sizes. This polish is not currently in the shop, but should be up soon!
Seriously how fun is this glitter?! As with the last glitter topper it would look good over all base colors, and I love how all the glitter just pops against this black base (KB Shimmer Eclipse)

Which of these shades is your favorite? If I had to pick I would have to narrow it down Moe, Susie, The Transmogrifier
and Lots of Tiny Snowmen, although you can't go wrong with any of these shades.
