ShimmerPolish Week - Jovie

Today is my final post of ShimmerPolish Week (I know, I know, it was really only 5 days...) and I will be sharing with you Jovie, which was provided for review.

Jovie is described as a "Pink Opal Holographic Glitter Polish!" and it's a lovely shade!

I used one coat of Jovie over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. This is a lovely and gentle combination and this ShimmerPolish is very angelic. I felt like the lightness of the base washed out some of the pretty glitter though, so I am also planning to try this over a darker shade and will share that with you!

What was your favorite of the ShimmerPolish shades that I showed you this week? I loved them all but I think if I had to pick two of my favorites they would be Vivian and Crystal.

Remember that you can purchase Shimmer Polish on her etsy site, or follow her on Facebook or her website!

ShimmerPolish Week - Josephine

Happy Tuesday!

I am here again with another lovely polish provided by ShimmerPolish, Josephine. Josephine is described as "Pink-Orange and a Hint of Blue Glitter Polish." Once again, you will see that the descriptions don't do these shades any justice, but that's OK since the polishes speak for themselves!!!

I am wearing two coats of this polish topped with Gelous and Poshe. I really love how there are larger blue glitters in this shade because they add a little something extra. The colors remind me of a patriotic mix and I can definitely seeing myself wearing this as an accent with a red, white and blue mani in the future.

ShimmerPolish Week - Crystal

Today I am going to show you Crystal, which was provided by Shimmer Polish for my review. Crystal is described as "Copper Brown Glitter Polish." As you will see it is so much more than just a copper brown glitter!

As you can see here, the way this polish reflects light is absolutely gorgeous! Look at how you can see blues and greens!! Gah! I didn't think I would love this one as much as I do because I don't normally wear those colors but I was so surprised. I have on two coats of Crystal topped with Gelous and Poshe.

What do you think of this shade? Will you be picking it up?

ShimmerPolish Week - Vivian

Hello Lovelies! I was recently contacted by Shimmer Polish to review some of her lovely creations and so of course I said YES immediately! Her polishes are all completely jam packed with glitter and are pretty much the definition of GlitterBombs :)

Today I will be sharing with you Vivian. On her etsy site, Vivian is described as "Dusty Rose Pink Mixture with Grays and Black Glitter Polish!"

Isn't this polish lovely!!! For my mani, I used two coats of Vivian over Essence Mauve Like A Rockstar. I wanted to do a neutral base to show off how gorgeous this polish is on its own. Today you also get to see a guest appearance from my thumb. lol. I used a single coat of Vivian over the base to show how much glitter-ness you can get in a single coat.

Don't you just LOOOVE the macro shot of this polish!? I am obsessed with it!

I love this shade and you can purchase Shimmer Polish on her etsy site, or follow her on Facebook or her website!

Stay tuned for 4 more days of lovely Shimmer Polishes!

Shimmer Polish - Stephanie

Today I am so excited to be showing you swatches of my first Shimmer polish. There are so many lovely shades that Shimmer carries, but of course, for my first, I HAD to choose, Stephanie!

Polishes Used:
-China Glaze - Electric Beat (Pinky and Pointer)
-Sinful Colors - Ciao Bella (Middle and Ring)
-Shimmer - Stephanie
-Gelous
-No Time

I was dying to see how this polish looked over a couple different blues which is why I used both Electric Beat and Ciao Bella for my undies. This glitter polish is ridiculously gorgeous and has TONS of glitter in just one coat (which I have on in the photos).

I was so excited to see this polish on when I first go it, that I swatched it over a red as well (Sinful Colors - GoGo Girl). Here is that picture:

Yep, still looks awesome.

I picked this polish up on the Shimmer Polish shop on etsy and you can too!
