L'Oreal Paris - Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight

A couple of weeks ago I received the L'Oreal Paris Ultimate Straight product line from Influenster and today I'll be sharing my thoughts!

I would consider my hair type straight/wavy. I can't really wear it natural because its not straight enough to be "straight" and its not wavy enough to be "wavy", so I am always either straightening it or curling it or scrunching it. I was excited to try the Ultimate Straight product line to see how it worked on my hair.

There are 4 products in this line.

1. Straightening Shampoo
2. Straight Boosting Pre-Conditioner
3. Straightening Conditioner
4. Straight Perfecting Balm

I have been using these products for a couple weeks now and I really like the results. My hair feels silky smooth and hydrated and when I do end up straightening my hair (which is like 85% of the time) I found my hair to stay straight and smooth all day long.  See?

^^Those pictures were all taken towards the end of the day when my hair would have had time to loose it's straight; but as you can see, still straight as ever :)

Have you tried any of the L'Oreal Paris Ulitmate Straight products yet? Do you think you will be picking any up?

Kiss - Gradation Polishes

 

I was recently selected to review the Influenster #RoseVoxBox and one of the goodies in the box was the Kiss Gradation Polishes set.

The idea behind the kit is super simple, 3 polishes, step by step instructions on how to create an awesome glittery gradient look.

The set that I received was the Film Noir color which came with a silver base color, a black/gray jelly second color and a black/silver glitter for the third color. Overall, I am pretty impressed with these sets. Since the polishes are somewhat jelly they lend themselves to gradients and are definitely a lot easier than doing a sponging gradient with cream polishes. I would recommend these kits to fellow polish lovers of all skill levels :)

Influenster - Spring Fever Vox Box

Hey Loves!

I recently got my Spring Fever Vox Box in the mail and wanted to show you all the goodies that were inside!
(Note: It also came with a Tasty Kake Kandy Bar, which my husband ate before I had a chance to take this picture!)

So other than the Tasty Kake, here is everything that I got in the box. I thought this was a great box because I was looking forward to using everything!

I love all lipgloss / chapstick, so the NYC was great. I have never tried hair dust so I am looking forward to testing that out soon. I used deo so, yeah, lol. The Tasty Kake was yummy and I have this nail blog, so the impress nails fit right in.

In fact, I already tried the nails:

Hmm, so a couple things to note.

Pros:
-Super cute and fun design for summer! I love nails that have nail art because no everyone is great at it and this is cute!
-Easy application; the nails have a sticky side on the back so I was able to just stick them right onto my nails after finding the correct size.
-Removal was easy and my nails were not destroyed!

Cons:
-The size of these nails was small. some of my nails were just as long or longer than the size of the imPress. If you have short nail beds though, this would be a non-issue (I know my sister who has shorter nail beds has worn these with no issues)
-They didn't curve as much as my natural nails so they weren't laying flat as you can see in some of the photos. Along those lines, they sort of "hurt" my nails as if they were trying to pull them into a position they didn't want to go in.

Overall, I think these would be cute for a special occasion and I definitely could have seen myself wearing these to a high-school dance, and way cheaper than actually getting acrylics.

Influenster Cosmo VoxBox - Venus Razor Review

Hey Ladies,

Just wanted to give you a review of the Venus Razor and blades that I got as part of my Cosmo VoxBox.

The razor that I had before this one was a disposable so this is way nicer. I received the Venus Embrace and Venus Olay heads. I have been using the Embrace head for about a week now and my legs feel super smooth. The round shape seems to almost form to your legs to get a nice smooth shave; it is also moisturizing which is good for sensitive areas like the bikini line. 

I can't wait to try the Olay blade as well and when I do I will let you know what I think of that blade as well. The neat thing about this razor is that all the heads shown in the picture fit onto the same body. 

Overall, I would recommend  this Razor and although it is more than some disposable razors, the quality is worth it! You can purchase this at any drugstore and on Amazon.com too. 

Influenster - Cosmo VoxBox

This week I received my Cosmo VoxBox. This is the first box that I have received since I joined Influenster and I was very excited.
