PRESS RELEASE: SALLY HANSEN’S NUDE NAILS ARE FRESH AND NATURAL AT STELLA McCARTNEY’S SUMMER 2016 FASHION SHOW IN PARIS OPERA

SALLY HANSEN’S NUDE NAILS ARE FRESH AND NATURAL AT STELLA McCARTNEY’S SUMMER 2016 FASHION SHOW IN PARIS OPERA

As the exclusive nail sponsor of Stella McCartney Collections in 2016, Sally Hansen freshened up the look, on the Stella McCartney Summer 2016 catwalk in Paris Fashion Week, with a subtle and modern nude nail. To accessorize the effortlessly elegant in the designer’s collection, Sally Hansen’s Global Color Ambassador Madeline Poole elevated bare nails by using an understated sheer polish that sent clean nudes down the runway.

Revealing the nude nail’s unexpected potential for uniqueness, Madeline Poole used two coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in “Arm Candy,” maintaining a neutral aesthetic.

“We wanted to reflect and compliment the explosion of colour, energy and movement within the collection by celebrating a true summer beauty look that is fresh and natural, while also embracing the individuality of women” – says Stella McCartney
“We're using a sheer pale pink "Arm Candy" for Stella's SS16 show. Stella's whimsical and mixed use of color and pattern need a nail that's understated and low maintenance. This is a look that anyone can wear - a sheer polish looks refined and subtle on any shape nail bed and any skin tone. "Arm Candy" leaves a bit of the natural nail showing through so it creates a custom finish for each girl.” – says Madeline Poole, Sally Hansen Global Color Ambassador.

THE STELLA MCCARTNEY SUMMER 2016 COLLECTION
An explosion of colour, energy and movement. A true celebration of summer, exuding a vivacious and liberated spirit.
A feeling of fearlessness is expressed through the unexpected layering of masculine bold checks and stripes to create a play on feminine transparency with rich andgraphic textures.
Contrast color pleated dresses quiver and float in sharp sculptural layers of bright blue, spring green, chili redand pink. Either thigh-skimming or floor-grazing, their engineered hemlines rise and fall to reveal tempting flashes of leg.
Knitwear sits close to the skin. Polo tops in wrapping shapes with sporty striped edging. Pleated ribs with cut-aways stretch to reveal slices of sky, berry and mint. Raw indigo denim is highly structured with visible white stitching, whilst two-toned ribs with undulating movement feature extreme fringing.
Clean tailoring reflects the ease of summer in dusty rose, tan and black. Trousers are wide, yet the silhouette is elongated and free, retaining a sensual connection to the body. Monochrome statements in organic cotton piqué shirting and black summer knit tailoring. Scoop necklines expose and accentuate the female form.
Inspired by abstract sculptures, ribbons are distilled into primitive swirls and refined spirals layered on embroidered mesh in pure white and black, or chili red on berry.
A unique airtex effect is created using transparent eyelet embroidery. Asymmetric or floor length, they stand out in acid shades of lemon, bright orange, cobalt blue, and black and white.
Accessories include a modern take on the Riviera opensandals with sporty soles. Cherry tinted sustainable wooden platform clogs in nude, tan and black. Wicker and alter nappa bags with round buckles and gold chainmail. Oversize aviator sunglasses with a square color contrasted detail, in a palette that compliments the tones of the season.
