Adventures in Stamping - Can't Wait for Fall

This week's theme is Can't Wait for Fall; this mean colors or images of the fall.

I chose to use fall colors for my mani. I recently got China Glaze Man Hunt from the Safari Collection and knew I wanted to use it as my base.

Polishes Used:

-OPI - Nail Envy

-China Glaze - Man Hunt

-Out The Door - TopCoat

Please excuse the marks, I did this before bed and got sheet marks on it before I had a chance to take pictures. (Lesson Learned)

I wanted to do something to make this vampy for the challenge so here we go!

Polishes Added:

-Konad - Special Red

-Plate - BM-224

I love how the red turned this dark and vampy, just the look I was going for. Once I added the topcoat and took the pictures though, I realized that it looked a little spider-man-ish as well. That's OK, it's still fun for fall!!!

What do you think? Does this seem "fall"-ish to you? Or are you stuck thinking it looks like Spiderman like I am? haha!

Zoya Lotus & Fishtail Fail

I recently picked up my second Zoya polish ever (I know! Only 2? Crazy, right!?!?). I got Zoya Lotus at Ulta last weekend on Clearance and I LOVE this color! Its a dusty purple with tiny pink shimmer.

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Zoya - Lotus
-Out The Door - TopCoat

Then, the next day, I decided I wanted to try a fishtail mani. This turned out to be a complete fail but I'm showing you anyway.

Polishes Added:
-Zoya - Pippa
-Sally Hansen - Celeb City

I didn't wait for any of the polishes to dry before I did the next color so smearing what happening left and right - didn't love the color choices - just wasn't feeling this. Next time I will try to be more patient and take my time on it. (P.S. Ignore the tip wear please, lol)

Have you tried fishtail mani's before? Don't you love Lotus by itself though?

Classic French

If you're part of the MANPEG group you know that I recently mentioned about having acrylics on all through college. Not just acrylics, but Pink and Whites. It got me missing how crisp and clean my nails looked when I had them on and how Classic a look it was. Since I'm not actually going to be getting acrylics on again anytime soon, I thought I would do a french mani today!

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
-Out The Door - TopCoat

I love the look of this and it made me miss the Pink and Whites of my college years, and the best part of this mani is that when I take it off my nails will still be healthy! (Whoohoo!) The lines aren't as crisp as I would like up close but its pretty hard to tell that from any normal distance, so I am plesantly pleased.

Essence - Time For Romance

One of the polishes that Mateja sent me was Essence Time for Romance. This is probably one of my favorites from the stash. Its a lovely burgandy / pink glitter thats tinted too. I haven't tried is alone yet, but today I will be showing you two different ways to wear it.

What do you think? It's amazing how different Time for Romance looks overtop of Marshmallow vs. Purrfect Plum. It's like these looks are made for Springtime and Fall. Which one do you like better?
