I still can't believe that it is already March, and St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner. We aren't Irish, but who doesn't love getting dressed up in green and drinking beers?!

Incoco has put together a bunch of fun real nail polish appliques for the occasion and today I will be sharing with you 4 of them!

Catch Me If You Can: a festive mix of St. Patrick's Day designs on a shimmer gold

Emerald City: a bold green and gold glitter

Did you know that you can now find select shades at Walgreen's stores?! Check out this St. Patrick's Day Walgreen's exclusive:

I think that this one may even be my favorite of the bunch! You still have time to run to Walgreens to pick this one up, or order from incoco.com now to get your appliques in time for the holiday.

Nail Art for Nubs Link-Up

I hope everyone had a good weekend! I was out of town but got to spend time with my in-laws so that was a nice time and I know my husband had a great time seeing his family.

For today's Nail Art for Nubs Link-Up, I obviously did something inspired by St. Patty's Day. I am not Irish myself, but it is big in Pittsburgh with an all-day parade/party this past Saturday, of course I wasn't able to attend, but I saw lots of fun, and green, pictures!

Polishes Used:
-Zoya - Josie
-OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls
-Konad - Green
-Bundle Monster Holiday Plate - BM-H04

Believe it or not, I don't really wear nail polish to work on a regular basis anymore, I usually only wear clear, but since it's St. Patty's Day, I decided to wear this mani so I went for something simple, that wasn't too flashy and wouldn't draw too much attention.

Josie was the perfect green polish, this had been in my un-trieds and it is probably my new favorite (move over Sally Hansen Parrot) because this is one coat. Yes, you read that right, ONE COAT!

Check out what the other ladies did on their nubs today!

AIS - St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!! I hope that you are all having a fun day today, or maybe you did something yesterday!

So obviously, this week's theme in Adventures in Stamping is "St. Patrick's Day".

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Sally Hansen - Parrot
-Sally Hansen - White On
-Konad - Green
-Pueen - 03
-Konad - m22
-No Time

I purchased the Pueen set last week and I am so excited to use them all! There are so many neat designs so just wait and check them out.  I really love how although I stamped with White On, it almost turns into a light green over the Parrot base.

Let It Snow! Challenge - St. Patrick's Day

Today is the LAST THEME in the Let It Snow! Challenge. Luckily, the girls and I will be sticking together and doing monthly themes for a while moving forward.

But back to this week's challenge, it's St. Patrick's Day!

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Revlon - Emerald
-Essie - As Gold As It Gets
-Gelous
-No Time

I haven't been doing much "nail art", but I think that the simple look of this mani is really classy. Gold and Green are the quintessential St. Patrick's Day colors in my mind and this look is understated but flashy and fun. My photography didn't want to capture the goodness and complexity of AGAIG though which was slightly disappointing.

I had a lot of fun participating with the regular girls, and some new ones too, for this Let It Snow! Challenge, and hope that you will stick around to see what else comes from The Nail Challenge Collaborative.

To get you in the mood for tomorrow's holiday, make sure to check out the other St. Patrick's Day manis below!

Girly-Girl Challenge - Day 5: Gotta Love Chick Flicks!

Today is Day 5 of the Girly Girl Challenge and that means "Gotta Love Chick Flicks". As always, here is the challenge:

So I am sort of cheating because my FAVORITE chick flick is actually Two Weeks Notice with Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant, however, I was very inspired by the movie for a mani, therefore, I moved to one of my favorite musicals, The Sound of Music (I know my husband is NOT on  board with musicals and therefore, they become Chick Flicks in my house).

When  I think of Sound of Music I think of this picture, which is what inspired my nails:

It's been WARM here for Pittsburgh in March and the green grass with yellow flowers from the movie just seemed to be perfect for this challenge.

Polishes Used:
Sinful Colors - Mint Apple (2 coats - base)
Sinful Colors - San Francisco (1 coat freehand)
Essie - Da Bush (1 coat freehand)
Sinful Colors - San Francisco (another coat freehand)
Zoya - Pippa
NYC - French White Tip
Out The Door TopCoat

I hope that you're not TOO burnt out on the green from St. Patrick's Day and I honestly don't normally wear it but something just came over me today. lol.

As always, don't forget to check out the other ladies "Chick Flick" mani's here:

NOTD: St. Patrick's Day Spirit

As you may or may not know I am going to a wedding on Saturday; which also happens to be St. Patrick's Day.... Therefore, I am wearing my St. Patrick's Day mani today. I have recently started using my Konad stamper again [successfully] and decided to use it today, so here we go!

Sooo, three things to apologize for:

1. I should have cleaned my nails up a little better before taking the pictures
2. My index finger didnt come out dark enough
3. I need a fill sooooo bad!

Polishes Used:
-2 coats Revlon Sheer Frosting
-Konad special green polish
-Out The Door TopCoat
-Konad stamp m83

Overall, I think this look is OK. I don't love how bright the green is and overall I am not super happy with my nails right now, but this will be good enough to tide me over for a couple days. Let me know what you guys are all doing for St. Patrick's Day. Enjoy the rest of your weekend loves!
