MASH Scented Neon Nail Polish Set Review - Part 2

Hello Loves!

Today I have the final 3 polishes from the MASH Scented Neon Nail Polish Set. Red/Cherry, Pink/Strawberry and Orange/Orange. I hope you enjoyed seeing the first 3 shades in yesterday's post!

Red / Cherry:

I have on two coats of this polish, and the application was very smooth and even. This polish smelled exactly like Cherry Airheads!

Pink / Strawberry:

This pink polish was completely opaque in two coats and have really smooth and even application. It smelled  delicious like strawberry Bubblicious/Bubble Yum.

Orange / Orange:

I didn't expect this orange to look good on my skin-tone  and although its probably not my *ideal* color, it's not too bad! This polish also had smooth and even application and smelled just like a fruity orange.

Overall Thoughts on the MASH Scented Neon Nail Polish Set:
  • Every single shade in the collection had really nice, smooth and even application.
  • All 6 shades smelled exactly like their descriptions and even once I had removed the polish, my nails still smelled a little fruity.
  • The products from MASH arrived very quickly.
  • Initially when I received these polishes, I thought they looked like dupes for the Claire's scented collection. Although they are similar, I don't think they are dupes and the colors seem richer.
  • I wouldn't exactly call these polishes "neons"; they are all very nice bright, rich colors, but I expect my neons to be "in your face" bright.
  • OVERALL, these were great polishes and super fun for the upcoming spring/summer season. I would purchase polishes from MASH again for sure.
You can pick up these and other products on the MASH website.

Do you own any MASH polishes or stamping plates? Which ones?

MASH Scented Neon Nail Polish Set Review - Part 1

Hello Lovelies! Today and tomorrow I will be showing you the MASH Scented Neon Nail Polish Set. I was recently sent this set to review and all of the colors are nice and bright for spring.

The set consists of 6 colors (and corresponding scents): Red (Cherry), Pink (Strawberry) Orange (Orange), Yellow (Banana), Green (Lime) and Blue (Fruit Punch). Today I will be sharing with you the yellow, green and blue shades.

Yellow / Banana:

I have three coats of polish on to achieve the above pictures. The application was smooth and even.

Green / Lime:

I have two coats of polish on in the above pictures. This polish was slightly more opaque than the yellow and definitely smells like lime!

Blue / Fruit Punch:

I have two coats on in the above pictures. While you can still see a VNL, I liked how this looked with two coats.

These and other MASH products can be found here: MASH Website

Stay tuned tomorrow to see photos of the Red, Pink and Orange polishes along with my final overview/thoughts/review of this polish set!

AIS - Valentine's Day

No Surprise here, today's theme in Adventures In Stamping is Valentine's Day. Perfect fit.

Polishes Used:
-OPI - Nail Envy
-Claires - Strawberry (it's scented too - yum)
-Spoiled - Jewelry Heist
-Maybelline - Bold Gold
-BM-311

This mani was somewhat hard to capture, but I didn't want to just stamp over plain pink today so I added the glitter prior to stamping. I like the way that it turned out; although the gold is somewhat hard to see it's almost a casual look from afar but surprisingly complex when you get up close. And it smells like Strawberry gum too. lol.

Happy Sunday!

My Mom's Nails

Happy Tuesday!
As I mentioned yesterday I got together with my mom and sister this weekend and did their nails. Below are the nails my mom ended up with.

Polishes Used:
-Wet 'n Wild - Flirty Rose Creme (2 coats)
-LA Girl Fruity - Sparkling Peach (2 coats)
-Out The Door TopCoat

Sparkling Peach was also one of my new shimmer polished that I picked up at Rite Aid. It is supposed to be scented when dry but I forgot to ask my mom to check, lol, also, do you think it will still smell through a topcoat? I let her pick the base color for this design and the colors looked very pretty together; I will probably try out this topcoat over top of a black and white base colors just for comparisons sake.

Have any of you tried out scented nail polishes? If so, do they actually still smell with topcoat over top? I remember having blueberry scented glitter polish when I was in middle school. I think it was blue glitters with larger raspberry hex in it as well.... oh the memories.... lol. Does this sound familiar to anyone else from the mid-90's?
