Holiday Happy Hour - Guest Post by Creative Nail Design By Sue

Today is the final guest post of my Holiday Happy Hour series; and I think we are finishing with a bang, thanks to Sue of Creative Nail Design By Sue. I have gotten to know her this past year through some seasonal challenges and polish groups. She is so nice and her freehand skills make me weak in the knees!

When Stephanie asked me to do a guest post, I couldn't resist.  Firstly, she agreed to help me judge my recent nail art contest which was a daunting task.  I felt I needed to repay her.  Secondly, the banner she designed is amazing!!!  Cocktails and manicures are the perfect combination.  I found some holiday wallpaper with a cute little elf and wanted to recreate it.  I knew it would take some time and required quite a bit of detailed, intricate work but I just thought it would be so cute if I was successful.  The little elf is sitting on the edge of a snow covered mountain drinking a cup of cocoa that she pulled out of the sky.  I hope you enjoy......

Holiday Happy Hour - Guest Post by A Girl and Her Polish

I hope that you readers are loving these guest posts as much as I am. Today, Katee from A Girl and Her Polish is showing off one awesome Holiday mani for us. I am in numerous polish groups with Katee, she is super nice, friendly, and like she mentions below, we live close to each other, so that's very fun. One of the things that I think Katee is AMAZING at is stamping (and swatching, and freehand, etc, etc, the list goes on), and she is showing us some of the awesome work with her mani today :)

Hello all you fabulous A Little Polish readers!!  I am so happy to be guesting on Stephanie's blog today! She is one of the sweetest ladies I know and it has been a real pleasure getting to know her!  Plus her nails are amazing!  I am also very jealous of her indie polish collection!  We live very close to each other, so I might just start showing up on her doorstep begging for polish! :)

Anyway..on to the design!

My Holiday design is inspired by the polish I used, Sonnetarium Peppermint Kiss.  I haven't even shared this on my blog yet, so you are getting an exclusive!

I decided to layer Peppermint Kiss over a white base, to cut down on the number of coats.  I went with 1 coat of Milani White on the Spot.

When I ordered this polish I thought it was in a white base, because I did not read the description.  I was very surprised to learn that the base is slightly tinted red, which looks pink.

I added 1 coat of Peppermint Kiss.

Seeing that we are talking peppermint, I decided to add a peppermint candy swirl.  I used Red Angel plate 110 and Milani Rapid Cherry.

And I topped it off with 2 coats of HK Girl.

I don't know about you but I sure do like some candy themed nails for Christmas! Just don't try and eat your fingers! :)

Holiday Happy Hour - Guest Post By Color Me So Crazy

This is a special week in the Holiday Happy Hour Series because we have 3 guest posts! I asked one of my good friends IRL, Brigitte, from Color Me So Crazy to do a post for me, and of course, she said yes. Ohh my first guest blog post and I am pumped!! When Stephanie asked about possibly doing a Holiday post, I didn't know what to do. I'm in two challenge groups and by this point I have just about every Christmas themed mani picked out for my challenges and Holiday parties. Then... I was watched ABC Family and saw a commercial for Justin Biebers new perfume and then I got a light bulb!! Today's theme is "All I Want for Christmas to Get Rid of My Bieber Fever!" I have Bieber Fever baaaad! This actually started as a joke at work because I was singing extra loud to myself along with Bieber. I walked out of my office and there were all my coworkers staring! This then evolved into my Bieber craze. I was given Bieber notebooks, pictures on my desktop and even a Justin doll. It has now turned into a fever! I have an office decorated like a teenager!!! So instead of hiding from my constant embarrassing teenage gifts from my coworkers, I am going to embrace it. Lets just hope the fever goes down in the new year!! As you can see, my fever starts out mild and quickly escalates to red hot, psychotic purple and finally explodes to an all out Bieber epidemic! Enjoy!!

These shades are all so pretty, and they look super cute with those heart glitters. And Brigitte is right, although it started out as a joke, my husband and I did get a Bieber themed gift to give to one of them for Christmas ;)

Hello fellow polish addicts... HAPPY HOLIDAYS! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Kelsie from Kelsie's Nail Files. This is my favourite time of year and I am so honored to be sharing some of my festive nail art with A Little Polish :)

I started with a simple stamping manicure...

I started with a coat of Barry M Raspberry then added Flomar 393 glitter to the base of each nail. Then stamped with Jordana's French Manicure White. 

The bell is BM-223, Snowman BM-318 , Tree BM-205, Gift box BM-205 and snow flakes BM-319.

I wore this look for one day and it seemed like something was missing, so when I got home from work I added a few splashes of color...

There were too many individual polishes used so I decided not to list each one.

I want to say a big thank you to Stephanie for hosting my nails on her blog... and I wish you all the happiest of holidays with your loved ones!! :D

Isn't this super cute! I love the shimmery subtle gradient under the stamping and I love how she "colored" in her stamping; I never would have thought to do that, but isn't that what's the best thing about blogger friends? Hey dolls! 

I'm Karine from Karine's Vernis Club and it is my absolute pleasure to talk to you today. I discovered Stephanie's blog during the Lazy Days Of Summer challenge and we got to chat and bond. I like her nail art skills, it is very unique like this beach themed one, one of my favorite! Today's post is holidays themed and I could not be happier. I love to help my mom finding a gift for my dad and vice versa, I most of the time get the gitfs, wrap them, decorate the trees. I usually go for the red and gold combo but I'm really into blue lately so I decided that it would be my base for this manicure.

The base is 2 coats of OPI Fly, a turquoise creme then I did half moons with OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous. I finished the look with silver dots. Thank you for reading and have a great holiday!

Holiday Happy Hour!
