ShimmerPolish Week - Josephine

Happy Tuesday!

I am here again with another lovely polish provided by ShimmerPolish, Josephine. Josephine is described as "Pink-Orange and a Hint of Blue Glitter Polish." Once again, you will see that the descriptions don't do these shades any justice, but that's OK since the polishes speak for themselves!!!

I am wearing two coats of this polish topped with Gelous and Poshe. I really love how there are larger blue glitters in this shade because they add a little something extra. The colors remind me of a patriotic mix and I can definitely seeing myself wearing this as an accent with a red, white and blue mani in the future.

You can purchase Shimmer Polish on her etsy site, or follow her on Facebook or her website!

ShimmerPolish Week - Crystal

Today I am going to show you Crystal, which was provided by Shimmer Polish for my review. Crystal is described as "Copper Brown Glitter Polish." As you will see it is so much more than just a copper brown glitter!

As you can see here, the way this polish reflects light is absolutely gorgeous! Look at how you can see blues and greens!! Gah! I didn't think I would love this one as much as I do because I don't normally wear those colors but I was so surprised. I have on two coats of Crystal topped with Gelous and Poshe.

What do you think of this shade? Will you be picking it up?

ShimmerPolish Week - Vivian

Hello Lovelies! I was recently contacted by Shimmer Polish to review some of her lovely creations and so of course I said YES immediately! Her polishes are all completely jam packed with glitter and are pretty much the definition of GlitterBombs :)

Today I will be sharing with you Vivian. On her etsy site, Vivian is described as "Dusty Rose Pink Mixture with Grays and Black Glitter Polish!"

Isn't this polish lovely!!! For my mani, I used two coats of Vivian over Essence Mauve Like A Rockstar. I wanted to do a neutral base to show off how gorgeous this polish is on its own. Today you also get to see a guest appearance from my thumb. lol. I used a single coat of Vivian over the base to show how much glitter-ness you can get in a single coat.

Don't you just LOOOVE the macro shot of this polish!? I am obsessed with it!

I love this shade and you can purchase Shimmer Polish on her etsy site, or follow her on Facebook or her website!

Stay tuned for 4 more days of lovely Shimmer Polishes!

Pahlish - Coney Island Queen Collection - Part 3

Finally, we have reached the end of my Pahlish Coney Island Queen Collection review. Today I will be showing you the last two polishes from the collection, "His Favorite Sundress" and "Anticipating and Pacing". These are the orange / red-coral polishes from the collection.

First up, the orange shade, His Favorite Sundress:

Shannon from Pahlish describes this shade as a "creamy pale coral base with gold shimmer and satin and metallic orange accents". This is such a pretty orange shade and unlike so many other oranges, doesn't remind me of halloween at all. I am wearing two coats of color, topped with Gelous and No Time.

Next Up we have Anticipating and Pacing:

Shannon describes this polish as a "creamy coral base with gold shimmer and royal blue accents". This is without a doubt one of my favorites of the collection. The shade is so gorgeous and unique! I have on two coats of color topped with Gelous and No Time.

Here is a collage of all the lovelies in the Coney Island Queen Collection:

Which is your favorite?

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents - Pastels Week 4

TGIF!

Today I will be showing you my final Pastel mani for April. I think this is a neat idea with the monthly themes that we are doing in the Nail Challenge Collaborative.

So here we go! I have to admit I haven't been feeling too inspired with me, so we are keeping it simple today.

Polishes Used:
-China Glaze - For Audrey
-Kiss Nail Art Striper - White
-Kiss Nail Art Striper - Silver Glitter
-Poshe TC

I recently received For Audrey from my friend Brigitte of Color Me So Crazy. I have used this shade as an accent before but never for my entire mani. I wanted to add silver tips but they didn't look right on their own so I free-handed some white stripes on there as well. I think next time I try this style of mani, I will use striping tape to get super clear lines. Overall, it's simple and pretty in my opinion.

Crumpet's Nail Tarts: Tri-Polish Challenge

Today is the fourth and final mani in April's Tri-Polish Challenge. I will be back with more Tri-Polish mani's during the 3rd and 4th weeks of May!

I hadn't used glitter at all in this month's challenge so I decided to add a glitter accent for this final look :)

For this final mani, I decided to use my pink and orange shades to do a saran wrap technique and added a coat of silver glitter for an accent nail. I love doing saran wrap mani's because they are SOOO easy to do and there is no right or wrong!

Pahlish - Coney Island Queen Collection - Part 2

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am back with Part 2 of the Pahlish Coney Island Queen Collection. I will be sharing with you the two neutrals of the collection, "Coney Island Queen" and "Mind Like A Diamond".

First Up, the namesake of the collection, Coney Island Queen:

Shannon from Pahlish describes this polish as a "creamy nude base with two sizes of rich metallic gold microflakes" . This is a great nude if you are looking for something work appropriate but want a little something extra instead of a plain nude. I have on two coats of this polish topped with Gelous and No Time.

Next up we have Mind Like A Diamond:

Shannon describes this polish as a "creamy greige base with shimmering charcoal and taupe microflakes". This is a really unique gray polish and I love that it has such dimension; it even has pink and blue and gold shimmers which were a pleasant surprise. This is definitely one of my favorite polishes from the collection. I have on two coats of color topped with Gelous and No Time.

Stay tuned for the final 2 polishes and a wrap up of the entire Coney Island Queen Collection.
You can buy these polishes and more on the Pahlish Etsy Site.

Crumpet's Nail Tarts: Tri-Polish Challenge

Happy Tuesday Loves!

Today I have the third installment of the April Tri-Polish Challenge :)

For this creation, I used all three of the shades in a gradient and added some black accents. I don't really love the gradient here; probably because of the colors, but that's ok; it is something different.

P.S. Today is my dad's 60th Birthday! Here is a nice photo of the two of us from summer :)
